The Pax Hotel

The street-facing room could get noisy at times when traffic passed nearby, and its windows seemed to be single glazed. Rooms facing inward are available, so I’d suggest asking for one if possible. The noise was generally fine, though. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and affordable, with very friendly, helpful staff. It’s near tram and bus stops, which made getting around easy, and the lake was a 10-minute walk away. There are also several cafes, a pharmacy, and a supermarket nearby.

I stayed here in late 2018 and again in 2022, and both visits were very good. The rooms are small but really comfortable, the location is close to everything, and the staff were very friendly. I loved breakfast too, and there’s more than what you see in my photo, don’t worry.

Very welcoming staff and a great location. A good hotel.

I come to Geneva regularly and stay here every time. The staff are wonderful, the location works perfectly for everything, and the showers are the best in the whole world. I’d take one home if I could! It’s a lovely old hotel that’s been completely modernized over the last few years. Always spotless, and the rooms look just like they do on the website.
