The hotel itself was tidy, and we had a nice stay. I especially enjoyed the retro elevator, and the location suited us. Our room could use some attention, though: the furniture should be renovated, the balcony doors fixed, and the bird droppings cleaned from the window sill. There was also salami left in the fridge by the previous guest. The smell was so strong whenever we opened it that I doubt it had been cleaned properly.

The view from the window was great, and there’s parking behind the hotel less than 5m away. The room was pretty big and sort of clean. Breakfast was the worst part, with mediocre ham, sausages, bread, and juice.

The location is top notch, but the rest didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel. The beds are very old and uncomfortable, the bathrooms are very old too, and the cleanliness is questionable. Breakfast is served at the hotel next door, and it was just an average Czech hotel breakfast. You can find cheaper places in KV that are much better.

The windows had a wonderful view, and the hotel is affordable and right by the centre. The room was nice, and the elevator was interesting. The old style and furniture may not suit everyone, though, and breakfast was disappointing.

We booked through Slevomat, but the stay wasn’t enjoyable. The beds were awful and we couldn’t sleep. They’re probably the same ones from when the hotel opened. The reception is in the other hotel, Ester, and the fridge in our room sounded like something from a 1950s movie. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone at full price.
