Hotel Rödelheimer Hof - Am Wasserturm

I keep coming back to this small, family-style hotel, and the staff always give a warm welcome. It offers a three-star standard, with clean rooms, very comfortable mattresses and kind, supportive people. Breakfast is delicious, with plenty of choices, and there’s a great bar for an evening drink. It’s easy to reach by car from the highway without getting caught in busy city traffic, and parking is included. The lot is occasionally full, though I’ve always found a spot so far. Your car needs a green eco sticker. If the location suits your plans, I definitely recommend staying here, and thanks to the staff for always making me feel welcome. 🙂

I’m a truck driver from Denmark and turned up late at night, after hours, but a very nice guy stayed late and found me a room. In the morning, someone from the kitchen was so sweet and made me eggs and coffee for breakfast 😋. I had a really pleasant stay. I’d have given full marks for everything, but the shower was a little small for a six-foot guy with broad shoulders. Still, I had a great time 😎

The air conditioning worked effectively during the hot weather, when temperatures were 33° or higher. The beds were good, but there’s no fridge in the rooms, which I see other guests have already complained about. Breakfast was a little below average. Parking can fill up on weekday evenings, so you may need to park on the adjacent surgery street. For a family of three, I didn’t think it was great value because it wasn’t particularly cheap.

A very basic, classic German hotel. There’s no refrigerator or complimentary stuff.
