Hotel Aurbacher Hof GmbH

The staff were the best part, very friendly and helpful. The dining room was nice, and everything was clean and tidy. My room was very small, though both of my friends had bigger ones. It's about a 30-minute walk from the old town, or two underground stops.

They offered us another room, which I appreciated, but the bed had the same big dip as the first one. In the original room, the shower was broken and pooling water, a knob was missing, and the room was falling apart. The bathroom had feces and boogers, the toiletries had been used, there were hundreds of scuff marks on the walls, and someone had literally written the room number on the door in sharpie. When I asked for some money back, the manager said it wasn't possible. The bed was uncomfortable too. Does this sound worth over 300 euro to you?

The staff were always friendly and ready to help with questions or problems, and they made our stay in Munich unforgettable. The facilities were clean and the dining room was decorated really well. Although the building looks old, the rooms are modern and well equipped. I stayed for four nights.

There was a nice garden out back where I could have coffee and relax, and the price was competitive enough that I'd probably stay again. The room was small and uncomfortably hot without AC, though with the windows wide open it was tolerable. I asked for a fan, but they didn't have one. The room had only been set up for one person, so I had to request another pillow and towel. It's a little too far from downtown, but still walkable.
