It was easy to explore Barcelona from Home to Home Barcelona, just a short walk from Plaza España and close to public transport, shops, and plenty of restaurants. When I arrived, the friendly welcome and helpful staff made me feel at home. The room was comfortable, stylish, and kept in good shape, a nice place to relax after a day out. I also liked the inviting shared spaces where guests could hang out and swap travel stories. I'd recommend Home to Home Barcelona for a convenient, welcoming stay, whether you're visiting for a weekend or longer.

The apartment layout worked well, and the building is modern, though it's several years old. We stayed at Home to Home for 5 nights. The furniture was pretty worn and there were some maintenance problems: the vinyl sofa was cracked and very worn, the shower door wouldn't stay shut, and the heating fan was so weak that warming the place took a long time. Several spots on the walls were dirty too. The outdoor area didn't feel inviting.

The apartment is modern and had what we needed for a home, and the place was clean and close to the main attractions. Check-in was easy, though it needs to be arranged because there isn't a reception. Public transport is within a 5-minute walk. The Olympic stadium and la rambla are a 20-30 minute walk if you walk fast, otherwise take public transport. If you're staying more than a couple of days, buying 10 tickets at the machines inside the underground station can save time and some money. Just remember this isn't a hotel, so there's no daily housekeeping.

For a stay of more than 3 days, guests need enough equipment to handle the usual things that come up in a home. The shower drain got clogged easily, and there was no tool to clear it. A vacuum would also help if a family stays for a week without daily cleaning, since the room can get messy. Even the iron was awkward to use: its cord was very short, and with it plugged into a low socket, ironing on the board was difficult. Still, the room was clean overall, the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. It's a good pick, with a few details to improve.
