Hostal Nilo

We ended up booking another hotel that same night. The water tasted very odd, the rooms were freezing in the morning, and the place smelled like weed. There was a dead rat on the terrace, and the building wasn't wheelchair accessible. There was one bathroom for the whole building. Staff were racist, aggressive in tone, and unfriendly. They were also mean and retarded. It was a really unenjoyable stay, and I'd rather sleep on the street than ever go back. I'd recommend this kip for one night only. We'd booked a room for two with two beds, but when we arrived there was only one bed, covered in hair. The place was falsely advertised online. We were charged extra on arrival, and they tried to charge us for the room again.

The pillows were hard, and you could feel the coils. The sink had stains, and there was no hot water. The shower didn't work properly, so I had to go down a floor to use another one, which also wasn't working right. The place smelled, and the staff were somewhat rude. You can spend 45 euros anywhere, anywhere but here.

The double room was small, and the bed for two was extremely small and not very comfortable. It had a shower built on the balcony. The facilities were clean but had clearly seen better days. WiFi only worked near reception, which is open 24 hours. The staff were helpful, though one of them doesn't speak English. It's in the center, in an old building with a nice atmosphere and plenty of nice bars. The location is excellent, and the beach is 20 minutes away. Overall, it was a good place to stay.

For two or three nights, this would be perfect, but I wouldn't stay longer. The prices and location are very good, and the rooms are decent. The walls are paper thin, so I'd bring earplugs. The shower was the worst part, it was pretty nasty. There was a fridge and microwave, but I couldn't find any other way to prepare food. WiFi was okay.
