Yeah Barcelona Hostel

The rooms were very comfortable, and the welcome was warm. Getting around was easy thanks to the excellent transport links nearby. I'd also suggest signing up for dinner: the food was delicious and great value, and it's a nice way to meet people.

The staff were welcoming and quick to help from the moment I arrived, and their positive attitude added a lot to my stay at Yeah Hostel Barcelona. Its convenient spot near many of Barcelona's main attractions meant I could sightsee, find food, and wander around without spending ages commuting. I had a comfortable, enjoyable trip to Spain and would definitely recommend this hostel.

The four-bed female dorm was peaceful and private, with curtains on every bed, a clean spacious bathroom, a large drawer, and two spots to lock away your belongings. The walking tours with Pablo and Mario were fantastic, and they're tip based, so you choose what the tour was worth to you. The 12 euro dinner was great value too, with three courses and a drink, and the food was good. Community dinners and walking tours make it easy to meet people. I recommend this hostel completely and will come back.

The hostel's location is very central, with supermarkets only a few minutes away. Most of the well-known sights are a 20-30 minute walk, and you can rent a bike there if you need one. The shared spaces are comfortable, and that's where I spent most of my time. Rooms are small but have what you need: a shared toilet and shower, a personal locker, and a phone charging socket by the bed. The bed was pretty good, though an extra pillow and blanket would help in winter when nights get cold. There's a shared kitchen and fridge. Put your food in a plastic bag, label it, and leave it in the fridge. Travelers also leave free cooking supplies behind, which can come in handy. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast at 8 am costs 7 euros and has plenty to choose from, including pastries, bread, eggs, juice, coffee, tea, cereal, and pancakes. Dinner is 12 euros for a simple homemade three-course meal at 9 pm. It's really a social dinner, so it's fun if you want to meet people. Excelente hostel.
