From Gran Via, the cafe at the top of El Corte Englese offers a stunning view across the old city, and its viewing point is free. The street itself is probably Madrid's most famous, lined with cafes, restaurants, hotels, and shops. It's also close to the castle, Sol, Prado, and Retiro Park.
