The worst part was how the hostel dealt with the ants and a frightening security problem. Strangers followed us into the building late one night and questioned whether we were guests and whether they could stay. They held the main door open and refused to close it. The door normally stays open for a while after you unlock it, then shuts and locks itself. With no 24-hour security, we had no way to know whether those people belonged there. It was unsettling and scary. The room had ants from the start. I saw a few when we checked in, but by bedtime they were crawling over the floor, walls, and bed. I called reception and was told they'd handle it the next day. They didn't offer another room or take immediate action, and ants were still in the bathroom and near the bed the following day, though there were fewer. It made the stay really uncomfortable. The woman running the place never checked how the problem was going or whether we were satisfied with the response. When I asked to leave and get a refund because we no longer felt comfortable, she refused. There was no apology or offer to make things right. The lack of care, the ant problem, and the security issue made this feel like a nightmare. I won't stay here again, and recommend looking elsewhere if you care about cleanliness and safety.

After completing online pre-check-in and giving my arrival time, I got there to find nobody available to hand over the keys. The woman who answered my call sounded annoyed that I couldn't get into the room. She called me stupid and mocked the way I spoke. I was stunned by how immature and unprofessional she was. I'd never been rude to her or done anything to warrant that treatment. She kept shouting while the phone was on speaker, so everyone could hear. I asked if she was an employee or the owner because I couldn't understand how anyone could act that way. I kept explaining that the key didn't work, while she insulted me and accused me of being aggressive, which I wasn't. Then she threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. She needs psychological help.

The room was freezing, and neither the air conditioning nor the heaters worked. The owner said they were heating the heaters, but they still weren't working. There was hair on the bed and the toilet was very dirty. When we complained about the dirt, she kicked us out of the hotel at midnight, didn't help us, and refused to refund the money for the days we wouldn't be staying. This is a terrible scam. Don't ever come here or let this company take your money. Disgraceful!

I had a bad experience getting into the place, and the woman was rude and inefficient. Later, my partner and I overheard her arguing over the intercom with a young man who was being denied access to his room. We were in the same situation. She yelled at him aggressively and was abusive. Apparently, he couldn't get his luggage and dog out of the room, and she was extremely rude to him. I don't want to come back.
