Hotel Príncipe Wellness & Spa

The room had an amazing view and was quiet enough to sleep once we closed the windows, even though people outside were very loud. I went with my son. There were some children, but it didn’t feel like a family hotel. The atmosphere inside and outside was more geared toward partygoers. Around 90% of the guests, and people in the streets and area, seemed to be German, and most of them were drunk all the time. We chose the hotel for its heated pool, which was really nice and clean, and we enjoyed it a lot. The staff were amazing and super friendly. I also really liked the buffet, with its wide variety.

I booked this at the last minute because I needed somewhere near the airport. The rooms and bathroom were average, and despite the four-star rating, it didn’t feel up to that standard. The area in particular isn’t high end. It’s very close to plays de Palma, a popular and crowded beach.

The hallways have almost no soft surfaces, so every sound carries. Someone coughing is so loud you might think it was you. I guess you get what you pay for. The AC wasn’t cooling, which left the room humid and really warm. This was in November, so maybe they’d already switched it off for winter, but it was at least 25 degrees in the room.

The bed was really comfortable to sleep in, and both breakfast and dinner were good. The rooms could use some renovation. In November there were always parking spaces nearby, but finding one in summer might be difficult.
