At £700, this small, shabby room felt like a joke, especially in 35-degree heat with no air conditioning or fridge. The place looks and feels old, and a proper renovation might help, but right now I don’t think it’s worth the price. At least the tiny bathroom was clean. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets seemed very old. I didn’t have any problems with the staff, so I can’t say whether they’re rude as other reviews mention. Their English wasn’t great, though, so communication might be difficult if you need help. That’s not necessarily the worst thing.

I loved my time there, especially the beautiful balcony view. The neighbourhood felt quiet, safe and nice, the location was amazing, and the hostel staff were kind and helpful. Late check-in and a very early checkout worked great for me too. The room’s soundproofing was really poor, with very thin walls. It would also be better with a few small extras, like a minibar or little fridge and an electric kettle. Adding those could improve the place’s rating.

The photos don’t match the place at all, and it felt like a total rip-off. There was only a fan in the room, which was hot and noisy. The lady who owns the hostel wasn’t service minded. This is the worst hotel or hostel I’ve stayed in. If zero stars were an option, I’d give it that. You’d be better off staying somewhere else.

There were mosquitoes and ants everywhere. When I told the receptionist, all I got was a sarcastic “take your food away so they won’t come.” The sheets smelled and seemed unclean, and I found out they’re only changed once a week. There weren’t clean towels, much toilet paper, tissues or a fridge either. This place doesn’t deserve one star, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It felt worse than an army base camp. The room was tiny and claustrophobic, with just a small fan for a little air. The bathroom was tiny too, and the shower didn’t work properly. The beds were hard and flat. I booked expecting somewhere decent, but the online photos were deceiving. This isn’t a humane way to live and enjoy Palma. Maybe I’d rate it one star if the receptionist had been more considerate of guests’ needs.
