Petit Palace Plaza de la Reina

The room was plain in function but comfortable, clean, and had enough storage for our bags, clothes, and other things. The safe needed new batteries, but they sorted that out quickly. Staff were very helpful and polite. Most of the sights we wanted to see were within walking distance, and the metro and bus stops were a short walk away. The hotel is very well located. I took off a star for the noise from groups at the bars, which was noticeable when we were trying to sleep, though not excessive, and for the tiny single lift. Two people can manage, three feels crowded, and four is like a commuter train. I'd have used the stairs if they were easy to get to.

We found the hotel quiet and clean, though the room doors slamming in the busy morning hours could be startling. The lift is very small and can be slow at peak times. Luckily we were on the first floor, so we usually took the stairs. It's easy to reach many attractions and places to eat from here. The staff were friendly and gladly helped us check in. Getting there was easy too, unless there's a marathon on.

Our room had a balcony over a lovely historic street, right beside the Museo de la Reina. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and they cleaned the room each time we went out, which was a nice touch. After checkout, we could leave our bags there for free, very handy since our flight was later that day. The hotel was peaceful and perfectly placed in the heart of Valencia’s old town, with the metro 500m away. Highly recommended!

We spent two great nights at Petit Palace. For three of us, the room was spacious, and it was worth the money for a three star hotel, even though it felt no-frills. It's right in the middle of the action, but the soundproofing was so good we couldn't hear any street noise from the second floor. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially Pere, who went out of his way to help with everything.
