Hôtel Concorde

The staff are fab and very accommodating. The accommodation is basic, but with so much to do, that’s all you need.

I always have such a brilliant stay here.

The staff did try to be understanding, and they even agreed to make us fries once when we asked. Still, I absolutely don’t recommend this place. The food was disgusting, some rooms were very cramped and badly laid out, and the bathrooms were notoriously dirty. The managers’ children also work there, which is noticeable. Communication was difficult because the staff didn’t speak French. The hotel closes at 11 pm, and we couldn’t leave afterward, so we were essentially locked in. The elevator was very old despite the building having five floors. Avoid it at all costs!

The rooms were freezing during my April stay. There’s no insulation around the windows, and the only heat comes from an electric heater that needs the room’s single outlet. Bring a power strip if you have several things to plug in. Food was awful too: I found hair and fur in meals more than once, plus insects in my salad (extra protein, I guess 😉). Breakfast never changed. The staff were friendly, but they didn’t speak French. I’d change hotels if possible and can’t recommend this one.
