Hotel Arok

Right across the street from Strasbourg main station, so getting here with luggage is easy, and you can walk into the city in a few minutes. The hotel seems very new. My room was spacious, with a big comfortable bathroom and a city view that included the main station. The staff were welcoming, and I really liked the free hot drinks in the eating area near the lobby. The bed was good, and the TV had Netflix and YouTube 👍🏻. Super convenient and comfortable, with great value for this location.

The staff were really kind and helpful. They booked a taxi for us, and it arrived right on time for our return flight. We had a superior room with a lovely view, and it was clean and pleasant, including the bathroom and its good-sized shower. We were near the lift but never heard it, and slept very well. Free coffee in reception was a nice extra, and there was a rather pleasant hot apple drink too. Based on our stay, I'd happily recommend the Arok. .

The train station is only about a three-minute walk away. The hotel's first floor looks chic and smells nice, with little tables for games like chess. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a bigger room. When my partner and I got to room #323, there were faux rose petals on the bed and a handwritten note from the staff, such a thoughtful welcome. The room was spacious and clean, with good ventilation and both natural and artificial light. Our window faced the front of the train station. The shower had two heads and plenty of space, and was mostly clean. There were plenty of towels, but the only toiletries were the 3-in-1 wall-mounted soap by the sink and in the shower. That was the one thing keeping this from five stars. I'd highly recommend the hotel, and thank you for making us feel welcome.

So convenient, right across from the train station, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. Service was quick and efficient. Don't miss the free coffee in the buffet area. 😍😍😍
