Ibis Glasgow City Centre – Sauchiehall St

The Glaswegian theme throughout the hotel was lovely, and we both enjoyed our overnight stay. Our room was fresh and clean, and the bathroom spotless. We couldn't work out the heating, but Connor, a lovely young man, sorted it for us. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

As this was my first time travelling and staying in a hotel on my own, I was pretty nervous. The staff made me feel much more at ease. My first room had a window facing a wall, which wasn't good for my claustrophobia, but they quickly moved me when I asked, to a room with a street-facing window. It was nice to feel listened to and understood. The facilities were lovely, the bed was comfortable, and I enjoyed the bar and breakfast. x

The room was clean and suited my needs, and breakfast at the Novotel was fresh and great value. The front desk staff were cheerful and incredibly helpful when I arrived. Even at 5am, the check-out staff went out of their way to help me with my boarding pass. I highly recommend the Ibis Hotel for a Glasgow stay.

After a theatre show, I needed somewhere handy for the Kings theatre because I had to be in the city centre early the next morning. The room had a comfortable bed, plenty of power points, a freeview smart TV, kettle and hairdryer. The bathroom was bright and clean, with a spacious, good shower. I stayed on a Sunday night, and it was quiet outside, so I slept really well.
