Travelodge Glasgow Paisley Road

I only stopped briefly to attend a gig at the OVO Hydro, so I can’t say too much about the place. It’s a comfortable walk of around 20 minutes away. The room and en suite were tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the area was fairly quiet with little traffic noise. There’s no restaurant on site, but a few choices nearby.

You get a budget hotel for a budget price. The room was clean, though the TV was small. I had trouble with the paid internet and wasted ages trying to fix it. When I finally went to reception, they said it was a known issue and gave me a new code straight away. I’ve always found the staff friendly and courteous. Thehotelreview

I was very unhappy with the service from the hotel receptionist. She was cold and dismissive, spoke to guests in an inappropriate tone, and came across as completely unprofessional. It left a very negative impression of the hotel’s standards. Guests shouldn’t be treated that way at a place that aims to provide quality service. I urge management to address this and ensure it doesn’t happen again, including providing proper customer service training to the employee involved.

I left feeling let down by how some of the staff treated us. I expected more courtesy and professionalism, but felt we weren't getting much attention or respect. I hope management looks at the way guests are treated and works to improve the service and the hotel's reputation.
