We’ve just got home from our fifth stay, and we keep coming back as a base for visiting family and friends nearby. Every visit has been great, and somehow they keep getting better. The apartments are modern and kept to a high standard, while still retaining their period features. The children especially enjoy the indoor pool, and the large garden is a real bonus too. We’d highly recommend staying here and hope to return next year.

The location works really well, with trains into central London and buses to Greenwich. On my last trip, my eleventh to London and ninth to Glenthurston, I stayed in three different flats over eleven weeks. My family and I have been happy with the accommodation and the friendly people over the years. Sue and Simon feel like friends now, not just hosts. Each flat has been clean, well maintained and equipped with what you need for a London holiday, whether you’re travelling alone or with family. I’m planning trip number 12 now and hope to get back in April/May, then keep this tradition going for the next five years. I want to celebrate a major birthday at Simpson's, and hope Holmes and Watson will be there too. Bring your family, you won’t go wrong!

I’ve stayed here with my family 3 or 4 times and loved it every time. The absolute best! We’ve had both the L apartment and the C apartment, and both were great. I’m guessing the others are too.

The area is well connected to central London, and the building is lovely, with great rooms. The staff were super friendly too. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it.
