Within the six hours we were checked in, two separate guests were able to open our door with their keycards because reception had “mistakenly” given them our room. When we reported it, reception said it wasn’t their fault, blamed another colleague, and claimed there was nothing they could do. Their only suggestions were that we check out or block the door with a chair. The room was dated and had a constant mold smell. This felt incredibly unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I remember staying here in the 90s, when it was Shamrock Hotel. They did good Yum Cha too!

The staff were attentive, kind, and helpful under Mr. Wang's management. I'd definitely come back.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or serviced apartment. The convenient location and staff are the only reasons for the one star. The rooms are outdated and poorly lit, and the air conditioning stays at the same temperature whatever the weather, so it’s impossible to get the room comfortable. It also makes the air very dry: even with 84% humidity outside, the room was at just 44%. Although the first few days were fine, after that the shower water was either too hot or unavailable. Staff repaired it after I asked, but it broke again several days later. There are over 10 rooms on each floor but only six washing machines and six dryers. For a long stay, you might have to wait until late at night to do laundry. The building says all rooms are non-smoking, yet smoke often lingers from the air conditioner. Late at night, other rooms’ doors are frequently banged open, making a lot of noise. Complaints seem to buy only a few quiet days. There are better choices for a long stay, even if the location is convenient.
