The owners made my mum and me feel at home from the start. There were only us staying, so they gave us another room at the same price to make us more comfortable. They introduced us to their family and even invited us to join a local ceremony, which made the visit really special. Dara Hill villa is in a peaceful spot, and we had an unforgettable stay. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere warm, welcoming and quiet.

I never stayed at Dara hill, but when I fell badly off my bike on the road right outside while riding around the island, someone I think was the owner helped me get the scooter out of the ditch. He went to fetch his daughter to help while he took several guests to the ferry. His daughter put antibacterial ointment on my wounds and made me feel much better. I can say they're good people, and I'm sure they'll make your stay wonderful. I highly recommend them. Craig robnik

The rooms and restaurant are beautiful, and the setting is peaceful, with lovely surroundings. The owner was very friendly and introduced us to his eagle Dedo. We also got to attend the karaoke night, and there's a good collection of bird. This is the best hotel on the island.

The owner and staff were so warm and helpful. On a busy weekend, they even sent someone to get ferry tickets for us, and they went out of their way in other ways too. The place is peaceful and quiet, with a central spot that makes it easy to get around. The food was good as well.

My cottage was dark and had bugs, and there was no service of any kind. Maybe it was just the cottage I got, but I moved to another hotel after one day.
