Hotel Ravi Kiran

The food was far below expectations and wasn't worth the cost. At INR 4,000 per night, the stay offered no value for money. I had a disappointing one-night visit with my family and would advise others to avoid this place if cleanliness, comfort, and value matter to them. None of us could sleep properly because of the severe mosquito problem. The room was poorly maintained, with old furniture, unclean blankets, and a dirty couch. Cockroaches in the room made it extremely uncomfortable and unhygienic.

We had cockroaches in the room, no hot water despite it being advertised, and Wi-Fi that only worked in the lobby, not in the rooms. When we raised the Wi-Fi problem, staff said they'd call a technician within half an hour, but nothing came of it. Hotel Ravi Kiran didn't match its advertising or deliver for the price. We'd stayed in several hotels across India, including some around ₹1800, and many had been much better for both quality and service. Staff didn't seem interested in helping, and several promised basic amenities weren't provided. Pretty disappointing.

The location is very convenient, right on the main road. I travelled with my kids, and there were four of us in total. The rooms were okay, nothing special. Food tasted quite good, but the restaurant service and menu were very bad. There's no partition in the bathroom, so it gets wet and dirty with any use. No dental kits or complimentary tea or coffee sachets were provided in the rooms. Room service and restaurant service really need an upgrade. Food orders took more than 30 to 40 minutes, sometimes up to an hour, so plan lunch or dinner around the wait. I'd give the hotel 2.5 stars.

The room, breakfast, and staff were fine, and I stayed for just one night, but the cockroaches were numerous. They were small and got into clothes and luggage, so be cautious. We found them at night and told staff, but they said they couldn't help because if they did anything then, we wouldn't be able to stay in the room. I asked for insect spray so I could use it myself. They said they'd send some, but never did. Other reviews mention cockroaches too, so I don't think they do pest control. There was also bad Wi-Fi and stained bedsheets.
