The security was worrying. The doors didn't have a proper lock system, so anyone could open them, and the doorbell didn't work. The TV never worked during our four-day stay, although we were charged for amenities that weren't provided. The staff didn't seem trained in hotel service, and I wouldn't recommend this below-standard hotel. Its booking-site photos are misleading, and prices should reflect the poor upkeep instead of matching other hotels nearby. Cleanliness was another serious issue. The bathrooms were dirty, tap water was yellowish, there were cockroaches in the room, and the drawers weren't clean. There were no wardrobes for clothes. We moved to another room, but the same problems were there. The grill used for our breakfast sandwich also seemed unclean for a long time, and the burnt taste was disgusting. We paid an extra 500 for breakfast, but were told the only choices were puri bhaji, chola Bhatura, and alu paratha. For four days, that meant eating only those items, even though we were paying. Staff said water bottles were chargeable, though I expected the daily bottles to be complementary and only extra bottles to cost money. Transport between the airport and hotel was fine and cost 3000 in total.

The tap water had soil in it, and the rooms felt stuffy and unhealthy. The furniture was poorly finished, with wood visible in many places. They gave us just one towel for three people, not one per person. People weren't cooperative either. If you care about hygiene, I wouldn't recommend this place. It was a terrible stay.

Getting help was a struggle throughout the stay. Requests were ignored or answered very late, and the staff came across as uninterested and unprofessional. Room service was extremely poor. The room itself was cramped and in worse condition than the online photos suggested. The price was another problem: they quoted one amount over the phone, then asked for more when we arrived. That felt misleading and dishonest. For what they charge, the experience wasn't worth it, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The main thing that needs work is cleanliness and hygiene. Improving that would make the experience much better. The restaurant food was okay, and the staff were supportive and provided very good service. I stayed at Hotel Atlas Palace, Ujjain, and felt safe and comfortable there.

The AC, TV, and geyser weren't working, so there was only regular water. For the TV, you can connect your phone to watch YouTube. The rooms were average. This didn't feel suitable for married couples or ladies, since you have to keep calling the housekeeper about the bathroom geyser and toilet flush.
