The apartment is beside a very popular pizzeria that has been there for many years and stays open until 5 a.m. People gather right outside the entrance to eat and talk loudly through the night, as if it were midday. The apartment isn’t soundproofed well enough, and when I complained to the pizzeria, they ignored me. That’s why we stayed one night instead of the two we’d booked, and our Bologna vacation was ruined. Before booking, I searched for reviews but couldn’t find any because the apartment was closed on Google. When we arrived, I noticed a few minor issues, though nothing serious. The main problem became clear overnight. The next morning I contacted VRBO, explaining that I couldn’t stay and complaining about the unreliable apartment management. I also learned there had been a dispute with the pizzeria, so the apartment had been rented in bad faith. Neither the management nor the “professional” agency provided proper support. It took more than a week of lengthy discussions to get a partial refund, and that didn’t cover the inconvenience and expenses. I asked for the accommodation to be removed from Expedia, but it still appears to be available. I hope this review helps stop the scammers from renting it. DO NOT CONSIDER THIS ACCOMMODATION.
