Hotel Olimpia

Our August 2025 stay at Hotel Olimpia was disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it. Construction had blocked the usual entrance, and although the hotel sent directions, we found them confusing. As visitors from out of town, we struggled to find the place. During the hour we spent looking, it took several calls and emails before we reached the front desk. When we finally got there, the receptionist didn't apologize for the trouble. The hotel is very basic. We expected there to be no air conditioning, but couldn't leave the windows open because of the downtown traffic noise.

Right in the middle of Cortina d' Ampezzo, this is a simple, clean room with the basic equipment. The staff were nice and helpful to guests. There’s a small breakfast corner, but no restaurant for lunch or dinner. Public parking is available. The hotel is on the second floor and there’s no lift.

Be careful booking this hotel through Super.com. They advertise an exclusive half-price deal, but I believe the hotel and booking platform are working together in a scam. When I arrived, the woman at reception said she only had a reservation for Manishma for four days. She knows who you are and that you're being targeted by a mafia paid by dirty lawyers and their flying monkeys. Super.com has an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, which I don't think you can trust in 2025. Many American government agencies have gone to shit and are heavily influenced by dirty tycoons like trump, musk, bezos, abramovich, and others.

We stopped here twice during our recent hiking trip in the Dolomites. Massimo was really helpful and transported our luggage to another hotel for us during the hike. The breakfast room had the usual large selection in the morning. The hotel is very central for downtown restaurants and bars, so the neighborhood gets loud late at night.
