B&B Circus Maximus

The host was friendly, helpful, and great to deal with, and the AC worked well. The apartment is in a good spot for walking around the Roman areas, with plenty of places to eat on the street, from rustic spots to pricier ones. We tried them at different price points and liked them all. The terrace was a lovely place to unwind after a day of walking. There’s even an ice cream shop downstairs. The furniture is a little dated, but the place was clean and comfortable.

The location is very convenient, with easy access to the underground and city center. It could work well for a one-night stop or a business trip if you’re getting up early. Rest was difficult for us because the sound insulation is poor. The rooms open right beside the shared area and kitchen, and breakfast preparation from 7 a.m. made it almost impossible to keep sleeping. If a quiet night matters to you, this may not be the right place. We were also disappointed by management’s response when we mentioned the noise. They were dismissive and suggested that anyone wanting a quieter place should choose a five-star hotel.

Claudia made us feel like family. She was welcoming and easy to talk to, and shared tips on sights and places to eat and drink. We really enjoyed our stay, and the breakfast options were good with nice coffee. The room was just right for our needs, clean, and spacious enough. On our last day we visited the nearby orange garden, which was lovely and had a nice view over the city. We walked past the colloseum each day and found it mesmerising. The location is great, really close to the city centre. Would absolutely recommend it, and we’d stay here again on a future trip to Rome. :) Emily and Brandon x

Claudia treated us like family and had great suggestions for local activities, sights, and places to eat. Check-in instructions were clear, and the host was so friendly. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a good-sized shower. It was a good size too. We were about a 10-minute walk from the colloseum, right in the city center. Breakfast was light, with fresh fruit and juices, coffee and tea, pastries, yoghurt, and cereal.
