Hotel Cellini

For our short stay, most of the places we wanted to visit were within walking distance. The room was beautiful, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Daniel at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with our last night in Rome and would stay her again next time we’re in Rome.

We had a comfortable night in the room for four, and breakfast was reasonably priced. What really set the hotel apart was the staff’s friendly, detailed, and helpful service. They patiently answered our questions and gave us good guidance. When a family issue came up during the busy season, they also managed to get us an extra night. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Getting around Rome was easy from Hotel Cellini. Roma Termini is walkable, and Repubblica metro and several bus stops are just nearby. The hotel also made our 18-day Italy trip especially memorable. It was clean and lovely, with a classical design and fresh flowers throughout that gave it a warm, fragrant feel. Our room was well equipped, and the mattress was the best we slept on in Italy. We’re still curious what brand it was. The whirlpool tub was a great way to unwind after sightseeing. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including pastries, meats, and cheeses, and we got fresh cappuccinos each morning. The staff were wonderful: they gave us a complimentary bottle of wine for our anniversary, helped arrange restaurant reservations, and stored our bags after checkout so we could collect them before going to the airport. Mel was especially kind, attentive, and helpful. Rick Steves had recommended the hotel in his Italy and Rome guidebooks, and I’m glad we chose it. We’d happily stay again.

Getting around was easy, with public transport close by and most attractions accessible. Our room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast had a good selection. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it.
