It’s in a handy spot, with easy access to the main points of interest, and the service and quality were quite enjoyable. But your stay depends on luck because sound carries poorly between the different rooms. You could end up hearing all about your neighbors’ lives.
There are lots of places to eat nearby, and the Vatican is about 10 minutes away. We took the metro from Termini. The room was a good size, with an electric kettle, a comfortable bed and linen, and a clean, roomy shower.
The room and location were amazing, and it had everything we needed. But bring earplugs. On Friday and Saturday nights, you can hear every song, beat, and person from the nearby bars and clubs until after 2 a.m. The water boiler in our room, number 4, sounded like an old car trying to change gears. I’m sure it served the neighboring rooms too, because it kept switching on noisily through the night and morning. Reception also woke us most mornings, saying hello and chatting loudly for some reason. Apart from all that, the stay was amazing.
The service was kind and lovely, and there was a Nespresso coffee machine in the lobby. Our room was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. The pillows were quite uncomfortable, though everything else was more than great. It was a pleasure staying here.
The room was clean and pretty, and the service was very kind. I’d recommend booking directly: the invoice came straight away, and the host sent instructions for reaching the apartment a day before the trip, along with suggestions for places to visit and eat. You can also arrange a taxi with Suites, which I recommend since the airport line is long.
