Our stay was thrown into chaos before it even began. We’d booked through Booking.com about a month ahead, selecting the option to pay at the property. Then, on the train to Venice, just 30 minutes away, emails from Booking said our payment method was invalid. That made no sense because we were meant to pay at the hotel. We tried a number of cards, including international cards that had worked all over Europe, but none went through. With only 15 minutes left before check-in, they cancelled our reservation without giving a reasonable explanation. At the hotel, the owner told us coldly that we couldn’t stay because the booking was cancelled and they were “fully booked”, even though the cancellation had come just minutes earlier. Right away, she offered us a “partner hotel” for about 50% more than our original price. We were exhausted from the trip and left scrambling for somewhere to sleep in Venice, where almost everything was booked or overpriced. The stress ruined the start of what should have been a memorable trip. I don’t recommend this hotel. If you care about reliability, honesty, and peace of mind while travelling, look elsewhere.

We booked a room at Ca Rialto Apartments for 170 euros in early June 2025, but it was cancelled without explanation two weeks before our October 2025 arrival. They then had the nerve to offer us a room at Cà Del Dose for 380 euros. There’s definitely some collaboration between them, and this feels like a scam. All summer we’d messaged them on Booking and WhatsApp to ask whether we could check in after 23.00. Three months later, we got a one-word reply: “yes”. That’s how they operate. The room was cheap at first so they could charge triple later. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. It was the worst experience we’ve had, and we feel scammed.

My husband and I were really happy with our stay. Elena was outstanding and professional, and she did her job perfectly. We’d gladly come back 🙏

The apartment was filthy, absolutely disgusting. We stayed in apartment 3533, so be careful with this one. Maybe the others are better, but the mold smell here was so bad it felt like it was choking you, and the AC didn’t work. We had to keep the windows open just to breathe, which meant insects got in. There were bedbugs too! Never again. It wasn’t worth 10 a night, and it cost more than a four star hotel in RIMINI. Absolutely nasty.

The room was huge, and although the furnishings were old, everything was super comfortable and very clean. We really enjoyed staying at Ca Del Dose. The host gave us a lovely welcome, and the wifi was the fastest we’d had on our travels.
