Getting around was effortless, with a gondola station and ACTV stop right by the hotel. After a long day, we could take the water bus back and get off outside. The owner was friendly and helpful, too. Our room stayed wonderfully warm despite the winter cold, was spotless, and had lovely traditional Venetian details. From our window, the Accademia Bridge was right there, with people gathering early for photos of the Basilica(Santa Maria della Salute). St. Mark’s Square and nearby piazzas were an easy walk. We visited during Carnival over a long weekend and had a great stay. Two tips: book through the website for the best rates, and buy ACTV passes ahead of time. We’d book again without hesitation.

Room 7 was clean, but tiny, about 2 meters wide and 5 meters long. The bed took up most of the width, so moving around was difficult, and for that size I felt the room was overpriced. Still, I had a good experience overall. The owners were friendly, the internet worked well, and the window looked out onto a nice river view. The location is excellent, central and beside a boat stop.

The host was a huge help, including when a city boat transport strike meant he had to arrange another way for us to reach the train station. He even came down to the dock to make sure we boarded the right water taxi. His suggestions for things to do and places to eat were great. I recommend the hotel wholeheartedly.

Room no. 10 was beauuutiful, and the view was amazing. Everyone was kind and helpful, and the service was spot on. Venice involves a lot of walking, so take good shoes, unlike my girlfriend 😁. We enjoyed it so much and would love to come back. Grazie mille!
