They never changed the sheets or towels while we were there, and the place wasn’t clean. Don’t stay there.

The balcony chairs looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while, and there was an overflowing ashtray out there when we arrived. They removed it quickly while we watched. Inside, the room wasn’t clean either: dust bunnies sat under the furniture and in the corners, and the fabric headboard was very dusty. The shortest route to the S.M.E. pier was 1.2 km. The walk to the paid beach was okay, though it was closed, and the free public beach was 1.5 km away.

The apartment is filthy, and I’d want another vaccination before staying there. Our garbage was meant to be collected three days ago, but it’s still there and the whole place stinks. I’ve never seen the beach look so bad, I think, and the place looks awful. Biggest lie, with zero service.

Lido Beach is only 20 meters away. The wide beach has fine white sand and a gentle slope into the Adriatic Sea, making it excellent for swimming.
