Hotel Dell'Opera

We found a quiet little terrace with room for four, or six if you really like each other, and used the honesty bar for a picnic one evening. My wife and I get overwhelmed by crowds, so that was just our kind of night. The room was big, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly with excellent service. The hotel has an elevator and is well placed for lots of attractions. We had breakfast there for convenience. It was simple, sufficient, and good, though maybe not the best way to stretch a dollar. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay and look forward to coming back. The room, location, breakfast, and other amenities were all good, but the staff were the real standout: friendly, helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and funny, with a great sense of proportion.

The staff went above and beyond, and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. A wonderful stay. We’ll definitely return.

Our canal-facing window let us watch boats and people go by. This is a nice little hotel in the heart of venice, with spacious, well-decorated rooms and everything clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and quickly replied to the couple of questions I sent before arriving. It was a bit of a walk with luggage from the train station, but backpacks made it fine. There’s a water taxi stop about a 10 min walk away, with airport transport from the same stop. Breakfast was great, with eggs cooked how you like them, and lovely staff. Some people are put off by the bathtubs with sit-down showers after reading other comments, but it’s simply a different way of doing the same thing. We’d return!
