We could leave our backpacks in lockers both before check-in, because we arrived early, and after check-out, which was really convenient. I spent one night at the Foresteria with my family and had a fantastic time. The location is excellent, our room looked out over the canal, and the staff were kind and professional. Check-in was quick and easy.

The window had a great view, the beds were perfect, and breakfast was great. We arrived on a very wet morning and were allowed to leave our bags for free. The staff were very nice, and there was free coffee all day. The shower was very small, but I guess that's common across Europe. For what we paid, it was amazing, and I'd definitely come back.

We had a comfortable stay, with very comfortable beds and a room that stayed warm when it was cold outside. Our four-person room on the second floor had an amazing view, and the location was great. Breakfast was very nice, and you could get coffee and tea in the cafeteria during the day. The building is gorgeous, though some rooms are quite basic while others feel more historic. Everything was very clean.

The place was probably the cleanest I've ever stayed in, with everything spotless and well cared for. The heating was excellent too, which made a real difference, and the room was very comfortable. It's in the best location in Venice. A special thank you to receptionist Sara. She was kind, professional and attentive, always ready to help. She gave us great recommendations, answered our questions and made us feel welcome.

The building feels like a museum, and it's about a 10-minute walk from San Marco. There are lots of restaurants nearby, plus some great coffee places. I'd recommend it 👌
