Lustraferi Apartment

We found check-in very easy, and having four sets of keys was especially helpful. The apartment was roomy and comfortable, with a lovely balcony looking over the canals. It’s a rustic, authentic place in a great spot, within easy reach of places of interest.

We couldn’t get WiFi or heating when we arrived, and it took an hour to sort things out. The house did get warm, but when we returned the next evening, it was cold again and the heaters had been switched off. It’s an old house, which is fine, but it didn’t feel cared for: the walls and doors were dirty, the bathroom walls had damp, and the bathroom was cramped and smelled a bit unpleasant. There was also a lot of noise at night. For the price, it wasn’t fit to host guests. I’ve given it two stars because at least we could sleep reasonably well.

The view over the canal was pleasant, but the flat was very cold when we arrived and the heating wasn’t on. It was turned on later, then off again the next day. The bathroom was extremely small and cramped. We also had no internet access when we got there and had to try to sort it out ourselves.

We needed a rest after a run of work, but arrived to a cold, poorly cared-for house. The host didn’t seem very willing to help with the problems we found, including getting the heaters turned on. I can’t recommend it.
