The staff were professional, breakfast was good, and everything ran on time, which made the stay feel easy and relaxed. Our room was comfortable and clean, with modern touches that still kept its classic charm. The location is hard to beat, right in the middle of things, with lovely views and easy access to the main sights. Highly recommend.

For a great view of the Grand Canal, ask for room 301 or 302 on the third floor. Carolina, the front desk manager, made us feel at home from the start. She was warm, thoughtful, and enthusiastic, and made our interactions feel personal. On our first evening, she shared a list of lesser-known local restaurants and a popular place with locals. She also helped me find a hairstylist to fix my hair after all the recent rain. Carolina called two salons and arranged an appointment for that same day. I chose Aldo Coppola, and it was a fantastic choice. Her restaurant suggestions were great too, and I’ll definitely book here again.

The location is good, and the staff were kind and tried to help, but I found this hotel very disappointing and wouldn’t recommend it. The online photos make it seem luxurious and elegant, while the room we got was tiny, barely leaving space to move. The very old mattresses sank when we lay down and made it hard to sleep. The hotel claims four stars, but our experience didn’t match that. When we raised the issue, staff offered another room, but it would have cost an unexpected extra €120. We’d already paid for the hotel in advance, so that was frustrating. We lost a day deciding whether to put up with the room or leave, when we’d come to Venice for a vacation. After arriving from a long trip with four suitcases, no one helped us, and there was no clear sign outside identifying the hotel. We had to work it all out ourselves, which added to the frustration.

We were right by the Rialto Bridge, and the hotel was spotless with a lovely breakfast. The staff were friendly and very helpful, including arranging water taxis to and from the hotel. A perfect stay.
