We stayed in a private room on the second floor with our young child. There are only two rooms up there, while the ground floor has capsule-style rooms. Check-in was easy, we had enough privacy, and we felt safe. It's basic, but clean and doesn't feel old. This place is outside town, so it's especially convenient if you're arriving by car. The surroundings are nice, and parking is free. The owner has thought through the details and provided what you need, including a washer and dryer, which was really helpful. We'd come back when we visit Kanazawa again. Thanks so much for the stay.

Kanazawa-ya is my favorite capsule hotel in Japan so far. I've stayed at quite a few in the big cities, and this one had everything I wanted: it was clean, quiet, efficient, and well-stocked. The owners were kind, helpful, and polite. It's a little far from the city centre, but not too bad, and we were very happy with the fantastic food options around Kanazawa-ya. I'd gladly book again next time I'm in Kanazawa, hopefully soon. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We rented the three bed room, which was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The beds were comfortable too. Since it's on the edge of the city, you'll need a vehicle to get there, but there's plenty of free parking. It's a good neighborhood as well. 10/10.
