There were bedbugs in the room, and they bit us. The floor also smelled of insect poison. The surroundings were dirty, the floors filthy, and the linens had holes and looked as if someone else had used them. Even the electric blankets the hotel provides were just as dirty. The rooms were cold despite running the air conditioning on heat, and at night it got so cold I had to sleep in a hat. I don't recommend this hostel. It was filthy and full of bedbugs.

The receptionist was nice, but hostel life really isn't for me. The place is very small, with nowhere to put luggage, and you never know who you'll be sharing a room with. I've stayed in better capsule hotels for less, and I won't do this again. Trying a hostel was a bad decision for me.

It was affordable on the weekend, and there was a free locker to use. The room looked a little worn, maybe because of the ceiling and flooring. There's no lift, and at night someone was always using the shower room.

The owner was super friendly, and everyone was welcoming. I loved the artistic feel and all the interesting objects and drawings around the place. The bathrooms and shower rooms were always clean, and the bed was comfortable. There's also somewhere to hang out with friends and relax. It's a convenient spot, and a great place for extroverted people to meet others. I'd recommend it for a visit to Nagoya, whether you're there for a day or a week.
