I knew before booking that the hotel sits in Nagoya's red light and party district. I was travelling alone, but families with kids may want to think twice. The hotel itself was a pleasant surprise, modern and sleek but still welcoming, and the check-in staff were very professional and polite. Amenities are in the lobby, so pick up what you need before heading upstairs. The room had more of a love-hotel layout. The toilet and bathroom were separate, while the sink was oddly placed in the bedroom area. A sliding door let me close the bedroom off from the hallway. The mattress and pillows were comfortable, and I slept through the night. The bathroom vent wasn't strong enough, so it steamed up quickly, and I could see mold because it hadn't been cleaned properly. Aside from that, the room was spotless.

The location is right in the middle of the red light district. At night there's some traffic, and lots of people sit out at crossroads or in front of storefronts. Staff were friendly and helpful, and you can pick up the hotel's amenities in the lobby, including free bath salts. My room was extremely clean. The shower and bathtub were separate from the toilet, and the sink was in the bedroom, which felt a bit odd but wasn't inconvenient.

We shared a room for one night, with two adults in my family alongside me. It was spacious enough for three adults, clean, and comfortable, with firm beds. The front counter staff were friendly, and there were lots of useful necessities. You can pick up free supplies at the counter, like razors, body towels and toothbrushes. The shower is a stand-up one, and there's a bathtub as well. Worth the stay.

The heated automatic toilet was the best one of our whole holiday. The bed showed some wear and could use an upgrade. Staff were friendly, and the location was good.

The room faced a wall, so the view wasn't much, but for a one-night stay it didn't really matter. Hotel Vista Nagoya was conveniently near the station, which suited our travel plans. Our room was clean, comfortable and reasonably spacious. Friendly, helpful staff made check-in and the short stay easy. We had a great experience, and it's a solid choice for a night in Nagoya.
