Apartment Hotel 11 Shinsaibashi

Loved it, and I'll definitely come back. The place is spacious and clean, check-in is easy and seamless, and the location is excellent, near Parco and the train station.

A Lawson grocery store is diagonally across the street, and there's a sushi restaurant right outside the lobby. The main shopping area is only a 4-5 minute walk away. The apartment/hotel is big and clean, with all the amenities you'd ask for, and worked great for our family of three adults and a youth. Easily the best place I've stayed in Osaka. Simply wonderful.

Getting into the building and finding the room was confusing, and we couldn't use the mailbox for room 403. The location is unbelievable, with access to three subway lines right on your doorstep. The air conditioning worked very well, but it was noisy. There’s no maid or reception, which wasn't a big problem, just a pet peeve. The toilet is modern and up to standard, though the bathroom as a whole doesn't ventilate well. That last issue may just have been specific to our room.

The room was nice and spacious enough, and the location felt ideal for the price. But the 4pm check-in was too late for me, and 10am checkout was too early. The elevator is tiny, maybe enough for 2-3 people with one checked bag each. Around 9:30-10am, people from other floors fill it, so you can end up waiting a long time. You need to take your luggage down before 10, and I couldn't find a stair option. If you're going out or heading on a tour, leave by 9am or wait until 11am, otherwise you may get stuck waiting for the elevator. I also wasn't keen on the physical key. Maybe it was just our room, but the main lock was wonky and hard to unlock. Once, we hurried back because my youngest needed to pee, and I struggled with the lock for a few frustrating minutes. There was no help desk or staff to assist us then.
