The best thing about this hotel is its location. The room was a decent size, but the bathroom had a bit of a damp smell. The room also got warm, and the air conditioning didn’t seem to work. It’s an okay place for a night or two in town.

The location was good, but I wouldn't recommend staying here. The air conditioning was poor, the windows wouldn't open, and the room was so cramped we had to climb over each other to get in and out of bed. It made for a miserable night.

The room was old but clean, and I had no other problems. The price was relatively low for Takayama city, and the location made it easy to get around. The small lot couldn't fit large cars, so those had to use nearby parking. On rainy or snowy days, I found it difficult to get to my car.

The breakfast was very satisfying, and the unit bathroom was fairly spacious despite the hotel being older. Since it's right in the city, getting around is convenient. The tower parking takes a while to park and retrieve the car, but the staff were very helpful. I'll stay here again next time.
