We spent a week here and really enjoyed it. It's a great base for exploring Tokyo on foot: I walked about 40 minutes to Shibuya, 20 to Harajuku, and even less to Shinjuku. Hatsudai Station is under 1 km away, and there are lots of nice restaurants nearby. The laundromat about 100 meters to the right of the hotel was handy for a longer stay. I'd recommend it for solo travelers or families.

We had a great 8 night stay in october. The place was clean and nobody bothered us. Check in took a little while with the self-service setup, but it worked. The station is only about a block away, and shinjuju station is one stop from there.

The neighbourhood was so quiet, and the bed was really comfortable. The rooms have a distinctive brutalist look, with murals and their own bathrooms, kitchenettes, and washing machines. There's also a lovely cafe downstairs. Definitely recommend.

The rooms felt cold and impersonal, and the decor struck me as prison-like. Even though I was staying at the hotel, staff said I had to order something at the cafe to use the same Internet available in my room. Service felt cold and impersonal too.

The room was unusually spacious for Tokyo, and the kitchen was massive. I was there with my mom and sister, and they couldn't stop talking about the washer and drier in our room. Check in is done on an iPad with no people involved. Across the street, the sushi restaurant has a hilarious setup: you answer a tablet when you arrive, get your table number after some confusion, then “pomp and circumstance” plays as you walk to your table like the queen of England. This place was pretty sweet!
