Shibuya Tokyu Rei Hotel

With the station just around the corner and everything nearby, getting around Tokyo from Tokyu REI in Shibuya was easy. We stayed four nights, and the hotel was exactly what we needed: a convenient, pleasant place to sleep while spending most of our time exploring. The beds were comfortable, and we liked the extra amenities in the lobby. Service was excellent, and check-in and checkout were smooth and efficient. The location is right in the heart of Shibuya. The room quality is something you can compromise on a bit when you’re mostly out in the city.

The hotel is in a great spot, just a few minutes’ walk from the station and eateries. Our room was a little small, but it was well equipped, and Tokyo hotels are often small. Amenities are also available near reception. The staff were really polite and helpful. When our flight was cancelled, we had to make a last-minute booking at the same hotel, and they kindly arranged for us to stay in the same room instead of having to check in and out multiple times. Highly recommended.

The room was clean, with comfortable bedding, and the TV was well placed for watching from bed. It was a little small, and at 6'4 I couldn’t fully stand up in the shower, but that’s to be expected. There are useful amenities on the 4th floor that weren’t listed in the room, including laundry and a microwave. The staff spoke enough English to make things easy. I’d stay again.

Having station access right outside Shibuya Tokyu REI Hotel made it easy to get around Shibuya and pop into nearby shops, even when the weather wasn’t great. The one hassle is that the B2 route has neither an elevator nor an escalator.
