We ended up extending our visit by five nights, and the excursions we booked through the hotel were handled very well. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including omelettes and eggs made fresh to order. Sharifa kindly let us check in early, and the arrival process felt smooth and relaxed. The location is very convenient, close to everything. Our taxi from the airport dropped us just outside the Medina, then it was only a one-minute walk to Riad Atlas Palace. The riad was very clean, and the staff were courteous and attentive, including Sharifa, Laila, Abdulah, and the housekeeping and restaurant teams.

The rooftop breakfast buffet each morning was a lovely start to the day, and dinner was delicious too. The chef took extra care to cater for us as vegetarians. The riad is newly built, beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and our room was comfortable. Khadija and the team welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. It's in a great spot in the medina, a short walk from Jemaa El Fnaa and other attractions, while still quiet and away from the chaos. Khadija, Leila, Mohamed, Sayed, and everyone else were attentive and hospitable, and they made my daughter's birthday memorable. Soufiane always greeted us with a friendly smile. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to return.

We found bed bugs in room #3. I reported it on the second day, but the only option was to move to another room for one night while they cleaned #3. At 3am, the fire sensor in room #14 started making noise every 40 seconds or so, and the receptionist had to come remove it completely. When we returned to #3 the next day, I got another 10 bites. If the hotel had no rooms available, they should have offered to put me up at another hotel for free. Breakfast was poor. The bread seemed two days old, there was very little fruit, and the omelettes were the only good part. The recommendations and service were also bad. We booked an Agafay desert tour with a dromedary ride and quads. The driver was late and took us to an argan oil place we hadn't asked to visit, costing us an hour. The dromedary ride lasted just 15 minutes, I am not kidding. The quads and dinner were okay, but the price was double what you could find on TripAdvisor. They also recommended an argan oil shop where one bottle of under 100ml was offered for over 20 euros. And when the hotel offered to arrange transport to a restaurant, the taxi hadn't been booked when we came to reception at the agreed time. We made it, but barely. I would avoid this hotel.

The staff made us feel at home throughout our six nights, with friendly, helpful service, good humour, and real hospitality. We had beautiful rooms in a central spot in the medina. Thank you all.

The rooftop breakfast area is covered, and breakfast there was great. The location worked well for us, with the Secret Garden and Ecole within walking distance, the airport about 20 minutes away, and good restaurants a 5-10 minute walk away. The booking process was handled very well, and they were quick to respond by email. The place is superbly managed and the rooms are comfortable. They can feel a little tight if you have more than one large suitcase, so ask for a larger room in that case.
