We found it easier and more relaxed to turn left at the end of the alley and head down to Tinsmiths Square. It took the same time as the route to Jemaa el-fnaa, but had quieter restaurants, more locals, and kids playing in the evening. Kosybar is there too, with a rooftop beer. The hotel's alley is within a five-minute walk of Jemaa el-fnaa if you turn right, but motorcycles and scooters race through it as a shortcut even though cars can't fit. We stayed in August with family. The welcome was very friendly, all the staff were lovely, and Khalid deserves special mention for being so helpful. The rooms were spacious and ornate, and breakfast was served in the sunshine on the rooftop terrace each morning. We'd highly recommend the hotel and would stay again.

The place is beautiful inside, though you might not guess it from the discreet exterior. If it's your first riad, look for the small sign on the wall and get ready to be surprised by what's inside. Our flight arrived very early, and we were exhausted, but Philippe and Mansaf welcomed us with tea and cookies and let us check in early. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. We also tried the hammam with Kadijah and really enjoyed it. The price was very reasonable.

This is a beautiful, authentic Moroccan hotel with lots of charm and character. The location is great, right by the medina, and we felt safe walking there. The staff were attentive and always around if we needed anything. It was my partner's birthday during our stay, and they brought breakfast to our room with candles and flowers. I'd highly recommend it.

The location is handy for the tourist sights, and overall the stay wasn't bad. Still, we had no electricity for a whole night and into the morning. I messaged the guy on WhatsApp but got no reply, though it was Christmas, so I understand. I suppose going straight to reception would have been quicker. The Wi-Fi was slow and kept cutting out too. If you have a rental car, Parking Winxo Tachfine is apparently the nearest option, with guarded parking 24/7. It's a 13-minute walk from the riad. The medina is crazy, so don't listen to the guys on motorbikes. I had to call the riad to get this information, and hope it helps someone else.

We felt completely safe walking to and from the Riad, even late at night, and loved the location. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, with everything we needed. Breakfast was easy and filling each day. We also had lunch there one day, with a gorgeous chicken tagine made by the kind women in the kitchen. Most of all, thanks to Monssif at the front desk for making sure we were looked after. He and the rest of the staff couldn't do enough for us. The hotel driver was friendly, spoke great English, and was easy to arrange for airport trips. This was the perfect stay for us, and we'd choose it again.
