Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was the highlight of our Morocco trip. Faud and his aunt looked after us all week, were incredibly friendly, and made us feel at home. We also appreciated how they arranged a porter to meet our driver with the bags when we arrived, and again for our taxi to the airport when we left. We were greeted with tea and pastries, a lovely touch. The room was outstanding, and I especially loved the unusual brass toilet seat. It’s very well located for the main square. We had a brilliant time and highly recommend it for the service and good value.

It’s a small, personal hotel right in the medina, but still very quiet, with a beautiful terrace and an amazing breakfast. Communication through booking and whatsapp was easy. We were picked up at the airport, then a porter took our luggage through the medina. The staff were helpful and very nice. The rooms have lots of authentic decoration. Some bathrooms and showers are a little dated, but work just fine. I’d definitely come back.

The rooftop terrace was lovely, and breakfast served there was the best we had in Morocco. Our family room worked well for us, with two twin beds in a separate area for our teens. After a long trans-Atlantic flight, the staff let us into the room early, which we really appreciated. Our family loved staying at Riad Anabel.

The staff were kind and attentive to my four-year-old son, and we came away with memories to last a lifetime. Breakfast on the terrace was especially memorable, and I’d encourage guests to try Zahra’s hammam treatment. My skin felt so smooth afterward. From the beautiful decor and mint tea at arrival to the warm, professional service throughout, my family and I had a magical stay from start to finish. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, and I hope we can return soon.

Of the four places we stayed, Riad Anabel was our favorite for its service, dinners, and authentic feel. The AC worked very well, and you can ask for whatever dinner you want and they’ll make it. The family has run the place for 25+ years and really has their system dialed in. We felt very safe, with security outside. The dinner and food were the best we had in Morocco. Thank you all for going above and beyond in such an authentic way.
