The 360 ° rooftop terrace was the highlight for us. We could take in the view over beautiful Morelia and enjoy the day from sunrise to sunset. The colorful interiors and attention to detail give the place the feel of a boutique hotel, while still keeping the shared, communal side of hostel life. Berni, Rodo and Tom made us feel at home from the start, and they know the area’s best bars, restaurants and attractions. Everything is just a few minutes’ walk away because the hostel is so central. Vivir bonito feels like more than a name here, it’s a way of life. Thanks for having us. I’ll definitely be back.

The owners made us feel like old friends and helped us practice our Spanish. They also shared tips for getting around, places to eat and things to see. We ended up in Morelia after bad weather changed our plans mid-trip, and we were so glad to find this gem of a hostel. We loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

I stumbled on this gem in the heart of Morelia. The atmosphere was great, and I met some really awesome people. Wish I could’ve stayed longer, but I’ll definitely be back next time.

The common areas and terrace are lovely places to hang out, and on Saturdays you can watch the fireworks when the cathedral lights up. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, with everything we needed for a great stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt a wonderful vibe from our hosts and the place itself. We were absolutely delighted with this hostel in Morelia, and I highly recommend it!

The terrace has an incredible view, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The thoughtful details and colors inside make the place feel like home. The location on Avenida Madero is excellent for exploring downtown Morelia, with everything close by. Cars can be a bit disruptive in the morning, but Vivir Bonito is still completely worth it for the hosts’ hospitality, the comfort and tranquility of the house, and its location.
