We cut our three-day stay short by one day after a permanent Hotel Guest held an all-night party on the Rooftop Terrace. The noise from the street and other hotel sounds echoing through the stairwell made the place very loud too. I do Not Recommend this "Hotel". It was a very disappointing stay. There’s no staff on site except the housekeeper during the day, who was very nice and helpful. The Manager works off premise and contacts guests on WhatsApp. Before or when I arrived, I received no entry instructions for the front-door keypad, which raised questions about the "24 Hr security". I had to contact them, and hadn’t been given information about the amenities either. With no staff on premise, the "Hotel" can collect payment only through various platforms they suggest. The rooms are clean, updated, and nicely decorated, but the website photos made the place look more charming than it was. Other photos were misleading too: the listing said all rooms have a balcony or terrace, but none do. The Rooftop Terrace was worn and unappealing. The listed amenities were inaccurate. "Breakfast included" means a discount at an offsite restaurant, not breakfast at the "Hotel". Calling it a "Spa" is deceiving too, since any "Spa" services require contacting a service off premise. The "Hotel" said it was a 3 blk walk from the Centro District. That wasn’t true for us: it was a 30 minute, 1 mile uphill walk over cobblestones to the Centro area.

This was a terrible experience. I’d reserved three rooms through Despegar with a credit card, and the hotel canceled them an hour before my scheduled arrival. I’d contacted them to say I was on my way, and they explained that they wouldn’t confirm a reservation without credit card details. The card was only supposed to be a guarantee, since the hotel didn’t accept payment through the app and required payment on arrival. They said my card wasn’t valid, though it was, and I don’t understand what they were trying to do. They also claimed they’d tried to reach me by calling a number that wasn’t mine and by email. I checked with Despegar, where I booked, and they said the reservation was confirmed. Be very careful with hotels that don’t let you pay through their app, because this could happen to you.

The room was roomy, spotless, and had all the comforts I needed. It’s also close to the city center, so it’s a nice spot for a peaceful night or a walk. I’d happily come back soon! ✨️

A comfortable, pleasant place right in the center, suitable for a couple’s stay or a business trip. The staff were warm and charismatic.
