Park Mansion Hotel

Ferry gave me several helpful city recommendations and carefully showed me around the room and hotel. The tram is nearby, so getting around was easy. I had been a little worried Park Mansion might be too good to be true, but the stay surpassed what I expected. I'd happily recommend it.

The street is peaceful, with museums, shops, restaurants and more just a short walk away. The rooms were clean, roomy and felt luxurious, and Ferry was accommodating and a great host. It felt like an oasis in a lovely part of Amsterdam. We'd stay here again if we return.

Vondelpark is right nearby, and we could walk to the museums, including Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum, as well as plenty of restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and charming, which made exploring on foot easy. We stayed in the Garden Suite from December 29 to January 1. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful details. The fireplace, tall windows looking onto the private garden, and heated floors made it especially cozy in winter. We were warmly welcomed, with a stocked minibar, drinks and treats waiting for us. Ferry was kind, attentive and professional, and gave us useful tips for enjoying Amsterdam. It was a peaceful place for a romantic or relaxing break, and we definitely want to return.

Ferry was a pleasure to deal with, and the hotel's shared stairwell is like an art gallery. We stayed five days in the junior suite facing Vondelpark. It was beautifully furnished, with a fireplace, window seats, minibar and coffee machine. The location was fantastic: an easy tram ride into the city, and within walking distance of Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum and canal rides. We also enjoyed a lovely walk in Vondelpark. Highly recommended.
