Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget

The staff I met were super friendly, and the bed was very comfortable, with clean sheets and towels. Both the room and bathroom were spacious and seemed cleaner than at many hotels I’ve stayed in. There’s everything you need nearby. But I wasn’t warned during booking about the construction nearby, so it was an unpleasant surprise. The walls are thin, too. I could hear loud snoring next door all night, along with conversations and doors shutting in the hallway. I couldn’t relax and had to go to a pharmacy to buy sound-blocking earplugs. I’d suggest bringing some while the construction is going on. The shower doors were broken, and getting the temperature right was hard, it was either too hot or too cold. I’d recommend the hotel, but remember your earplugs!

For a reasonably priced place, this is a good find. It’s clean and comfortable, and the staff are really great. It’s about a 20-30 minute walk to most of Oslo’s main attractions. If you’re expecting full service, you’ll need to look elsewhere. I’d definitely stay here again.

The lounge by the entrance feels more like a cozy, futuristic café than a conventional hotel. You can sit there with coffee, read, or study, and it has a younger feel 😄. The place is central in Oslo sentrum, easy to find, and has self check-in. They also support sustainability. Our double room was very clean, and the hotel felt lovely and comfortable for a night. The only issue was a loud noise at night, possibly from ventilation or heating. For the price, it felt like a heaven 👼

Breakfast is included, and the cereals were really good. There’s laundry for a fee, plus a kitchen with basic cooking supplies, table tennis with rackets and balls, and a gym. The Wi-Fi was great for gaming. Our room with three single beds faced what looked like an abandoned attic, which was super creepy.
