The hotel itself is lovely, and the service was pleasant and good. But breakfast, described as à la carte with a buffet, was a big letdown. I've never seen such a small selection: no vegetables, one tray of ham, a little bread, one jar of muesli, only raspberry jam, and only plain yogurt. Dessert was small pieces of dry cake. We're not especially demanding, but enjoying a good breakfast is part of the pleasure of staying at a hotel. That part felt so meagre that it left us disappointed at the end of an otherwise nice stay.

The beds were super comfortable, and even though our room faced the street it was very quiet. Staff were lovely too. Cafe Watt serves a really good breakfast, with both à la carte and buffet options. The recently renovated hotel is beautiful and right in central Oslo. Rooms feel cozy and have everything you need, including a full minibar. Recommended! 👌
