We spent more than two weeks here during the busy Tihar period, and I'll happily return on my next Kathmandu trip. The owner, Sashin, encouraged the staff, celebrated with them, and even helped some get back to their home villages for the holiday. Seeing the family care for the staff, and the staff work so hard, made the hospitality feel real. Sashin and his aunt deserve a lot of credit. Kajir and Ayusha at reception, Soraz and Kalisslama in the restaurant, and everyone else whose names I missed all helped make the stay special. Dhanyavad! The rooftop restaurant has a stunning view, and breakfast there was a favorite. The chef and cooks were flexible, and the vegetarian dishes were delicious. When I had questions or wanted changes to the room or meals, the owner and staff offered useful, practical help. Daily cleaning was done well, and the cleaning team were sweet and helpful. Kesu Home feels like a home away from home, with spacious, clean, airy rooms and windows that let in fresh air. I tried two different room types. The internet was fast and steady, and the smart TV connected easily to my Netflix. Room service was available, too. It's an owner-run hotel with great value, set away from Thamel's chaos but still close enough to reach easily. There were shops and places to eat nearby, and the streets around it were clean and quiet. Meals were tasty, the internet was great, and staff were attentive and quick to respond. The caring owner clearly cares about guests' experience.

Kesu is quiet and affordable, a short walk from Thamel and far enough away from the bustle. The family who run it are genuinely helpful and care about their guests. I'd definitely stay again.

I felt safe, welcome, and well looked after here. It's great value, with friendly, helpful staff and amazing rooftop views. A lovely family-run place in a quieter, residential area.

The room itself was clean and decent for the price, but the listing felt misleading. I booked a Deluxe room through Agoda because its listing showed a bathtub, only to find that tubs were available in the suite category instead. The manager later offered breakfast to make up for it, but we couldn't choose what we wanted and the breakfast they served was pretty bland.
