Star Valley Hotel

I planned to stay one night and ended up booking a whole month. The garden is what first caught my attention, with all its trees and plants, and having my freshly brewed coffee out there each morning became one of my favorite memories. It’s a private, green little oasis, and the location worked perfectly for me, just a five-minute walk from several embassies. The people made the month feel like home. The staff were kind, friendly, and professional, and spoke several languages, including English, Hindi, Nepali, and Chinese. The Chinese owners were incredibly caring. When my card payment wouldn't go through, they helped sort out the problem, shared authentic Chinese tea with me, and gave me sweet little gifts for Christmas and when I checked out. They also supported me during a difficult personal situation. I left with tears in my eyes, grateful for that kind of human warmth. My room was cozy and recently renovated, with everything I needed. The new orthopedic mattress and pillows were so comfortable, and the fresh, snow-white linen felt crisp. Towels were always soft and clean. They cleaned the room daily and always provided bottled water, a hairdryer, and a kettle. The air conditioning worked well for heating and cooling, and the shower had strong hot water pressure. The ground-floor restaurant had a varied, delicious menu. The chefs were flexible and even made dishes that weren't listed, and it was handy to have food delivered to my room. For reasonable prices, I got comfort and a real family atmosphere. I recommend this hotel 100 percent. Thank you for making my month so special.
